About Ryan Pace
Ryan Pace served as the general manager for the Chicago Bears from 2015-21. Pace's first hire as GM was head coach John Fox, who led two different franchises to the Super Bowl. He is credited with finding running back Jordan Howard, who set a new Bears rookie rushing record with 1,313 yards in 2016. In 2018, Pace was named NFL Executive of the Year after Chicago went 12-4 and won the NFC North Division.
Prior to arriving in the Windy City, Pace spent 14 years working in the New Orleans Saints organization. He originally joined the player personnel department as a scouting assistant in 2002 after joining the franchise in 2001. As a player, Pace was a team captain at Eastern Illinois.
