About Sean Elliott
Sean Elliot played 12 seasons in the NBA with the San Antonio Spurs and Detroit Pistons from 1989 to 2001 after being selected in the 1st round with the 3rd overall pick by the San Antonio Spurs in the 1989 NBA Draft. During his college days at the University of Arizona he broke the all time Pac-10 scoring record and was named the Pac-12 Player of the Year twice in 1988 and 1989. After a stellar senior year he was presented the John R. Wooden Award and Adulph Rupp Trophy as the NCAA national player of the year. Upon joining the Spurs in 1989 he earned NBA AllRookie Second Team honors and would go on to earn NBA All-Star selections in 1993 and 1996. In 1999 he reached the pinnacle of basketball achievement when he helped lead the Spurs to an NBA Championship. During his career he scored over 10,000 points and posted over 3,000 rebounds and 1,000 assists.
