About Serena Brooke
Serena Brooke has been shredding waves since her early days on the beaches of Queensland, Australia. She began competing in amateur competitions in Australia in 1990 and won both the Queensland amateur surfing title and Australian National Title during her first year. In 1995 she graduated from high school and began competing as a pro, earning Women’s Rookie of the Year honors after attaining a No. 13 ranking on the pro tour. In 2001 she attained the No. 1 overall world ranking after winning the Billabong Pro Australia title and finishing as the runner-up on the World Championship Tour. She’d go on to finish second on the World Championship Tour two times and become one of the most recognizable faces in the world of surfing. Among her many sponsors are Angel Eyewear and Bud Light. Outside of surfing she established the Serena Brooke Charity Foundation in Huntington Beach, California which helps raise money for several notable causes.
