About Seth Jones
Seth Jones is a defenseman for the Florida Panthers. The Nashville Predators originally selected Jones in the first round of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft. Jones spent time with the U.S. National Development Team before playing one season with the WHL's Portland Winterhawks. He was named a WHL Western Conference First All-Star Team and won the Jim Piggott Memorial Trophy as the league's rookie of the year. Jones also helped the Winterhawks win the WHL championship. The following season, he made his debut with the Predators. Jones was traded by Nashville to the Columbus Blue Jackets in 2016. He has continued to develop in Columbus and was selected to his first All-Star team in 2018. Jones has been a fixture for the United States in international competition as well.
