About Shabazz Napier
Shabazz Napier led the University of Connecticut basketball team to NCAA Championships in 2011 and 2014, and was named the NCAA Final Four Most Outstanding Player in 2014. During his senior year he averaged 18 points and 5.8 assists per game in route to earning NCAA Consensus First Team All-American honors. For his excellent performance on the court in 2014 he was honored with the Bob Cousy Award, given to the nation's top collegiate point guard. In 2014 he was selected in the 1st round as the 24th overall pick by the Charlotte Bobcats and subsequently traded to the Miami Heat. Napier spent his rookie year with the Heat and has gone on to play for six other NBA teams.
