Shaun Murray

Shaun Murray grew up in sunny Mission Viejo, California and began water skiing as a hobby at age eight. After moving to Lake St. Louis, Missouri as a teen he began to perfect his skills on the water as a member of the Lake St. Louis Water Ski Club. After graduating from high school he headed to the east coach to ski on the Florida Southern College ski team. In 1995 he began his pursuit of a successful pro wakeboarding career and has since won multiple Pro and World Championship titles. As a pro he wakeboarded on the Backyard Tour and was featured in numerous wakeboard movies, magazine articles and television pieces. He was even the star of his own video game called Wakeboard Unleashed. Some of his notable accomplishments include being the first wakeboarder to land a 900 in competition and the becoming the only rider ever to hold World, Pro Tour and National Champion titles at the same time. In 2005 he was presented the Legend Award by Wakeboard Magazine.
