About Skal Labissiere
Skal Labissiere is a forward for the Atlanta Hawks. Labissiere played the first three seasons of his career with the Sacramento Kings after they selected him in the first round of the 2016 NBA Draft. He played one season of college basketball for the Kentucky Wildcats and averaged 6.6 points and 3.1 rebounds per game. Labissiere perhaps had his best game at UK when going up against fellow top NBA Draft prospect Ben Simmons and LSU. He finished 8-10 from the field for 18 points with nine rebounds and six blocks. Labissiere was apart of a Kentucky team that won the SEC Tournament and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Coming out of prep basketball in Memphis, he was considered a consensus five-star prospect by all major recruiting services. He was considered a Jordan Brand Classic and Parade All-American. Labissiere was originally born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. After weathering the 2010 earthquake that devastated the island, he moved to the United States.
