About Steve Slaton
Steve Slaton, a professional running back, currently wears number 20 for the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League. As a captain of his high school football team in Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania, Slaton went on to play for the Mountaineers at West Virginia University. At the end of his college career, ESPN ranked Slaton’s performance in the 2006 Sugar Bowl as the #5 best ever in a BSC bowl game. Slaton finished the 2006 season at WVU with the third most yards in the nation, exceeding 1,700 yards. Making his first professional appearance debuting in the NFL in 2008 debuting for the Houston Texans, Slaton has also played for the Miami Dolphins. Slaton has achieved AFC Offensive Player of the Week, All-American Consensus in 2006, and First-team All-Big East in 2006. Today, he continues to thrive on the field with the Toronto Argonauts.
