About Steve Smith
Steve Smith has had the kind of moments in football that players only dream of. The New York Giants drafted Smith in the second round of the 2007 NFL Draft. That season, he caught five passes in Super Bowl XLII as the Giants beat the New England Patriots. In 2009, Smith reeled in 107 catches for 1,220 yards and seven touchdowns. He went to the Pro Bowl and his receptions set a Giants franchise record. Smith would play one more season in New York before joining the Philadelphia Eagles and St. Louis Rams for a season each. Prior to his NFL career, he was a star at USC. 2006 was a special season for Smith and the Trojans. He earned first-team All-Pac 10 and All-American honors. USC throttled Oklahoma in the national title game and Smith caught three touchdown passes.
