About Steve Stricker
Steven Stricker is known as a fourteen-year professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. Stricker grew up playing golf throughout his hometown of Edgerton, Wisconsin and proceeded to play for the University of Illinois, earning AllAmerican honors in both 1988 and ’89 on U of I’s golf team. Debuting professionally just the next year in 1990, Stricker joined the PGA Tour in 1994 and obtained his first momentous success two years later when he serrated two victories and seven top ten finishes. Throughout his career career, Stricker has earned a total of 22 professional wins, the PGA Tour being responsible for 12 of them. Stricker was a recipient of the prominent Payne Steward Award and Byron Nelson Award in 2012 and 2013, respectively. To this day, Steve Stricker is a legend of the World Golf Championship, FedEx Cup playoff event, and PGA Tour.
