About Stina Blackstenius
Stina Blackstenius is a Swedish professional footballer who plays as a forward for Arsenal FC Women and the Sweden national team. Born on February 5, 1996, in Vadstena, Sweden, she began her career with Vadstena GIF before making her senior debut with Linköpings FC. She later played for Montpellier HSC in France and BK Häcken in Sweden before joining Arsenal in January 2022.
At Arsenal, Blackstenius has been instrumental in the team's success, notably scoring decisive goals in the 2023 and 2024 Continental League Cup finals, securing back-to-back titles for the club. Internationally, she has earned over 115 caps for Sweden, contributing significantly in major tournaments, including the FIFA Women's World Cups and the Olympic Games, where she helped secure silver medals in 2016 and 2020. Known for her clinical finishing and ability to perform in crucial moments, Blackstenius continues to be a key player for both club and country.
