Taryn Kloth

Taryn Kloth has established herself as a prominent American beach volleyball athlete who has achieved success in both indoor and outdoor competitions. Born on April 10, 1997, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Kloth attended O'Gorman High School, where she led her team to two state championships and was named South Dakota's Gatorade Player of the Year in 2014. She then continued her volleyball journey at Creighton University, earning multiple All-America honors and helping the Blue Jays reach the NCAA Elite Eight in 2016.

In 2019, Kloth transitioned to beach volleyball at Louisiana State University (LSU), where she paired with Kristen Nuss. Together, they achieved an undefeated 36-0 record on Court 1 in 2021, earning the AVCA National Pair of the Year award. Kloth also became the first player to earn both indoor and beach AVCA All-America honors.

After completing her MBA at LSU, Kloth and Nuss turned professional, quickly ascending to the top ranks of international beach volleyball. They secured multiple medals on the Beach Pro Tour, including gold at the 2024 Gstaad Elite 16 and the 2025 Brasilia Elite 16. In 2024, they represented the United States at the Paris Olympics, marking a historic achievement as the first American beach volleyball pair without ties to California.

Known for her powerful blocking and strategic play, Kloth continues to be a formidable presence on the international beach volleyball circuit, embodying dedication and excellence in the sport.
