About Tasha Danvers
Tasha Danvers is a former Olympic runner, competing for Great Britain in the 2000 and 2008Olympic Games. Danvers got her start when she was on the University of Southern Californiateam, competing in various events such as the high jump and the hurdles, winning an NCAAtitle in 2000. With victories at the 2000 Olympics, the 2008 Olympics, the Summer Universiade,and many others, Danvers was elected to the London Youth Games Hall of Fame in 2010.Danvers was also elected to the USC hall of fame in 2007. In 2003, Danvers married her coach,where they had a child together, forcing Danvers to miss the 2004 Olympics. After her and herhusbands divorce in 2009, Danvers competed until 2012, retiring due to lingering injury and along battle with depression. Danvers is now a public speaker and a coach, along withparticipating in her hobby of painting.
