The Big Show

Paul Wight or “The Big Show,” is a professional wrestler who currently works for the WWE. Heis known for his immense size, being billed at seven feet tall and 435 pounds. Show broke intoprofessional wrestling with WCW in 1995, being promoted as Andre the Giant’s son, anddebuting with the ring name, “The Giant.” In his first professional match, The Giant won theWCW World Heavyweight Championship by defeating Hulk Hogan. After a four year stint withWCW, Wight signed a ten year deal with the WWE, and has been with the company ever sinceunder the ring named “The Big Show.” Over his long career with the WWE, Big Show has wonmultiple championships, including the WWE championship, the World Heavyweightchampionship, the Tag Team Championship, the ECW championship, and many more. He hasswitched from heel to face on multiple occasions, and has been a part of many stables withinthe WWE. One of his most highly televised feuds was his feud against boxer Floyd Mayweather,a feud that would culminate in a match atWrestlemania XXIV, a match he would lose afterMayweather would knock out Show with brass knuckles. Big Show is still a main player in theWWE, and has certainly done enough to be considered a future WWE Hall of Famer.
