About Thomas Proben
Thomas Proben is a multifaceted professional golfer and businessman. He hails from Plymouth, Michigan, and attended Eastern Michigan University, where he earned a B.S. in Mathematics and a Physics minor. He was a two-time Mid-American Conference Long Drive Champion in college and captained the Eagles golf team. He competed in five National Public Links Championships, securing two top-10 finishes, and participated in five U.S. Open sectional qualifiers.
As the founder of ThomasZ Proben Golf, he leverages his extensive golfing expertise to coach players, promising to add significant distance to drives and transform weak shots into strengths. Proben's golfing accolades include being the 2010 Re/Max World Long Drive "Grand Champion," with drives exceeding 365 yards, and a 2014 "Legends" finalist.
He specializes in commercial real estate and has experience as a field civil engineer for major Central Florida construction projects, including a $400 million development project for the State of Florida. He is a devout Christian, baptized in the spring of 1979 alongside his long-time golf buddy. Proben splits his time between Detroit and Southwest Florida, competing in tournaments nationwide. His athletic prowess and entrepreneurial spirit make him a dynamic figure in sports and business.
