About Tim Burke
Tim Burke is one of the top Biathletes in the world. In 2009 he became the first American in history to lead the overall Biathlon World Cup, which came after a 7th place finish at the 2007 World Championships. Burke began his career in the Biathlon at age 15 in 1997 and went on to compete in the Biathlon Junior World Championships in 2000. After developing himself into an elite competitor on the world stage he became the second US biathlete to finish 2nd in a Biathlon World Cup competition in 2010. Burke’s main to races are the 10km sprint and the 20 km, which he remains a consistent competitor in year after year. In 2010 Burke represented the United States at the Winter Olympic games, which he considers to be one of his shining accomplishments.
