About Tim Legler
Tim Legler enjoyed a successful professional basketball career from 1988 to 1999 in the NBA, CBA, WBL, and USBL. Known for his time in the NBA with the Phoenix Suns, Denver Nuggets, Utah Jazz, Dallas Mavericks, Golden State Warriors and Washington Wizards, Legler ultimately played for over 20 teams in 10 years, but everywhere he went he showcased his pinpoint outside shooting. In 1996 he competed in the NBA Three-Point Shootout and dominated his opponents, taking the title back to Washington. During his years in the NBA he scored over 2,000 points and posted over 400 rebounds and assists while consistently being one of the top three-point shooters in the game. After leaving the NBA he joined the ESPN crew as an expert basketball analyst and now appears regularly on NBA Shootaround, NBA Fastbreak and ESPN’s “First Take”.
