About Todd Bertuzzi
Todd Bertuzzi had a distinguished career in the NHL that lasted 18 seasons. The New York Islanders selected him in the first round of the 1993 NHL Draft. He spent two plus seasons with the Islanders before being traded to the Vancouver Canucks. Bertuzzi spent seven-and-a-half years with the Canucks and was a two-time NHL All-Star. In 2003, he was also made the NHL First All-Star team. Bertuzzi holds Vancouver records for longest point-scoring streak and most powerplay goals. In addition to his first two teams, he also played for the Florida Panthers, Detroit Red Wings, Anaheim Ducks and Calgary Flames. Bertuzzi also represented Canada at the World Championships twice and the 2006 Olympics. He officially retired in 2015.
