About Torey Krug
Torey Krug plays in the National Hockey League for the Boston Bruins. In his amateur career Krug played hockey in college at Michigan State where it didnt take long for the guy slotted as a fifth or sixth defenseman on the roster to blossom into a selection for the CHAAs All-Rookie Team. He gained a reputation for his excellent offensive performances. Krug made his NHL debut in 2012 with the Boston Bruins after signing an entry level contract. After spending some time developing his skills further at a lower level Torey made it back to the Bruins and it became his breakout moment. He scored his first goal in his first playoff game. He ended the series by becoming the first rookie defenseman in the history of the league to score four goals in his first 5 playoff games. His sophomore season was just as successful including being a contender for the Calder Memorial Trophy.
