Trevor Linden is a former professional ice hockey player in the National Hockey League. Trevor began playing hockey at a young age and after several years playing in the AMHL and the WHL hockey leagues in his teen years he was drafted as the second overall selection in the 1988 NHL Entry Draft going to the Vancouver Canucks. In his 19 year playing career Linden was regarded as a respected leader on and off the ice and became the captain of the Canucks when he was just 21 years old, making him one of the youngest captains in league history. He helped lead his team to back-to-back Smythe Division titles in 1992 and 1993 before making an appearance in the 1994 Stanley Cup Finals. Aside from playing, Trevor has been the president of the NHL Players Association and taken an active role in various charities earning him the King Clancy Memorial Trophy.

First Inuk Player in the National Hockey League and Indigenous Advocate

Two-Time Stanley Cup Winner, 13-Time NHL All-Star and Olympic Gold Medalist

Stanley Cup Champion Head Coach and General Manager of the Nashville Predators
Hockey stars lay their bodies on the line and they are universally respected for their toughness. The NHL has brought a significant level of exposure to these athletes’ impressive feats. Hockey speakers are also some of the humblest athletes to work with and they are great for corporate groups, charities, universities, faith-based groups, and other organizations. The way that the best hockey speakers connect with audiences on important subjects like teamwork, leadership, and overcoming adversity, makes them valuable for any in-person or virtual event.
