About Tully Bevilaqua
Tully Bevilaqua is a professional basketball player who spent her career with several WNBA teams as well as several teams in Australias WNBL. Originally from Australia, Bevilaqua was never actually drafted into the WNBA, rather she was picked up as a free agent for the first time in 1998 by the Cleveland Rockers. After a short stint with the Rockers, she returned to Australia to play before being picked up by the Portland Fire and then the Seattle Storm. In her second season with the Storm, Bevilaqua was a backup point guard but played significant minutes as the team made a run and eventually won the WNBA Championship. Known for her aggressiveness as a defender, she played for the Indiana Fever for 5 seasons and a final 2 with the San Antonio Silver Stars before retiring from the game following the 2012 season. As a member of Team Australia, Tully helped bring home the gold at the 06 World Championships and led the Aussies to the silver medal at the 08 Olympic Games.
