About Viktor Stalberg
After a junior career in his home country of Sweden, Viktor Stalberg came to the United States to play collegiate hockey for the University of Vermont. His most successful season at Vermont came in 2008-2009 as a junior when he scored 24 goals (4th in the country) and was named as a finalist for the Hobey Baker Memorial Trophy on his way to his first Frozen Four appearance. Following his junior campaign, Stalberg turned professional and signed a contract with the Toronto Maple Leafs who had drafted him back in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft. Stalberg began with the Leafs AHL affiliate but worked his way up to the NHL club before being traded to the Chicago Blackhawks in 2010. As a right wing for the Blackhawks, Stalberg scored 42 goals over 3 seasons and helped Chicago win the Stanley Cup in 2013. Following the 2013 season, Stalberg signed a contract with the National Predators where he currently plays.
