Walter Dix

Walter Dix is a two-time Olympic medalist in track and field. Dix won bronze in the 100 and 200 meters in Beijing in 2008. He is also a two-time World Champion silver medalist and three-time gold medalist at the U.S. Outdoor Championships. An injury at the 2012 Olympic Trials kept him from pursuing more medals. While at Florida State University, Dix became one of the most decorated college track stars ever. He set the 200 m NCAA record and the 100 m junior record. At the 2007 NCAA Outdoor Championships, he became the first man since 1969 to win the 100 m, 200 m, and 4x100 meter relay. Overall, he won six outdoor NCAA titles, two indoor titles, and 18 All-American selections. Dix grew up in Coral Springs, Florida and attended Coral Springs High School. He currently lives and trains in Los Angeles, California.
