About Wayne Simmonds
Wayne Simmonds is a right wing for the Philadelphia Flyers. The Los Angeles Kings originally selected him in the second round of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft. At the time, Simmonds was starring in the OHL. He made his NHL debut for the Kings in 2008. After spending his first three seasons in Los Angeles, he was traded to the Flyers. Simmonds has since become one of Philadelphia's most important scorers. He was selected to the 2017 All-Star Game and won the Most Valuable Player award after scoring three goals including the game-winner. Simmonds has represented Team Canada at the 2008 World Junior Championships and the 2013 World Championships.
