About Will Shields
Will Shields is one of the all-time great offensive linemen and spent his entire 14 year career with the Kansas City Chiefs. Shields was a 12 time Pro Bowler and seven time All-Pro. He was the picture of durability, never missing a game throughout 223 starts. No Chiefs player has ever gone to more Pro Bowls. Shields was inducted into the team’s Hall of Fame in 2012. He was originally a third round pick out of Nebraska in 1993. In his senior year with the Huskers, Shields was a consensus All-American and the Outland Trophy winner as the best interior lineman in college football. His jersey is retired by the college. In 2003, Shields won the Walter Payton Man of the Year for work with his, “Will to Succeed” Foundation. Since 1993, the charity has helped over 100,000 people. He currently runs 68 Inside Sports, a gym in Overland Park, Kansas.
