Yul Moldauer

Yul Moldauer is an American artistic gymnast. Born in Seoul, South Korea, he was adopted as an infant and grew up on a farm in Arvada, Colorado, with three siblings. Moldauer began gymnastics at age seven and joined 5280 Gymnastics under coaches Vladimir, Irina, and Alexander Artemev at age ten. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2020 with a communications degree, earning 11 NCAA titles and the 2019 Nissen-Emery Award as the top male collegiate gymnast.

Moldauer’s accolades include the 2017 U.S. national all-around championship and a bronze medal on floor exercise at the 2017 World Championships. He competed at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, placing sixth on floor and helping the U.S. team to fifth. In 2023, he contributed to the U.S. team’s bronze at the World Championships. He’s a three-time American Cup all-around champion (2017–2019) and won gold at the 2023 Arthur Gander Memorial. His career highlights include five U.S. Championship golds and six Pan American Championship golds. Currently training in Denver, he aims for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
