Zheng Qinwen

Zheng Qinwen stands as a new talent in women's tennis because she demonstrates powerful baseline skills and successful international tournament results. Born on October 8, 2002, in Shiyan, Hubei, China, she began playing tennis at the age of seven. She moved to Wuhan at age eight to follow her tennis dreams and later trained in Beijing and Barcelona under Pere Riba. Her commitment to tennis and natural ability have led her to become the world's fourth-ranked female tennis player according to the WTA rankings in June 2025.

Zheng became the first Chinese and Asian tennis player to win an Olympic singles gold medal when she defeated Croatia's Donna Vekić in the final at Roland Garros during 2024. The Australian Open marked her first Grand Slam final appearance as she demonstrated her ability to compete at the highest level. Throughout the year Zheng won the Tokyo and Palermo Opens titles which established her position as one of the most promising athletes in the sport.
