Tennis star Julia Goerges has recently had an unprecedented run in her career as a singles star. Porsche has decided to capitalize on her success by naming her a brand ambassador in her home company of Germany. 

Goerges has long been a member of Porsche Team Germany. She has long been affiliated with the car manufacturer since winning at the 2011 Porsche Tennis Grand Prix. 

Goerges will be featured in an array of German advertisements. She joins fellow female tennis standouts Angelique Kerber and Maria Sharapova as a brand ambassador. 

Goerges won her last nine matches in 2017. She captured the WTA Elite Trophy title and reached a career-high singles ranking of 14th in the world. 

Goerges has won four WTA Tour and six ITF Women's Circuit singles tournaments. She has also won a total of ten doubles titles between the two tours. 

As a singles player, Goerges has reached the semifinals of the Australian Open twice and Wimbledon once. She made it to the finals of the 2014 French Open in doubles.
