College Football Phenom & Christian Philanthropist Will Deliver Opening Message at Annual Fellowship Gathering

The Furniture Prayer Breakfast board of directors announced that Tim Tebow, one of college football’s most iconic figures and fixtures in American sports, a devout Christian leader and philanthropist, will serve as the keynote speaker at their annual breakfast on April 25 at the Qubein Conference Center in High Point.

The Furniture Fellowship prayer breakfast has been held since 1993, intended to provide an atmosphere of fellowship, worship, and prayer in the industry.

“We are excited to welcome Tim Tebow as our keynote speaker this year,” said Lael Thompson, vice president of the Furniture Prayer Breakfast board. “Tim’s life and testimony exemplify courage, humility, and faith in action. His message will resonate deeply as our industry comes together to reflect, pray, and be encouraged to live out our faith with purpose and conviction.”

Tebow rose to prominence at the University of Florida, winning the 2007 Heisman Trophy and leading the Gators to two national championships. His dynamic playing style captivated college football fans across the country. Drafted by the Denver Broncos in 2010, Tebow’s NFL career was highlighted by a dramatic 2011 playoff run before he moved on to short stints with several teams. He later played minor league baseball in the Mets organization from 2016 to 2021.

He is a five-time New York Times best-selling author and speaker off the field. His philanthropic work through the Tim Tebow Foundation has served some of the world’s most vulnerable people across more than 100 countries through initiatives focused on anti-human trafficking, child exploitation, orphan care, prevention, and special needs.
