About Tim Tebow
Tim Tebow gained fame at the University of Florida, where he won the Heisman Trophy in 2007 as the first sophomore in college football history and led the Gators to two national championships (2006, 2008). His dual-threat playing style through the air and bludgeoning running game electrified the college football world in the late 2000s.
Tebow was voted the offensive MVP of the national championship game in 2008 after guiding Florida to a 13-1 record and their second national title in three years. In 2009, his senior year, the Gators once more finished 13-1. He was the Southeastern Conference's all-time leader in career passing efficiency and total running touchdowns at the end of his collegiate career.
Drafted 25th overall by the Denver Broncos in 2010, Tebowâs NFL career was polarizing. His improbable 2011 season, marked by clutch wins and âTebowmania," saw him lead the Broncos to a playoff victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers. After brief stints with the New York Jets, New England Patriots, and Jacksonville Jaguars, Tebow transitioned to professional baseball, playing in the New York Metsâ minor league system from 2016 to 2021.
He is a five-time New York Times best-selling author and highly sought-after speaker off the field. His philanthropic work through the Tim Tebow Foundation and his media roles with ESPN have kept the college football legend at the forefront of people's minds as a beacon of resilience and a role model for his outspoken Christian faith.
Tebow is married to Demi-Leigh Tebow, an influencer, entrepreneur, and former Miss Universe 2017. They recently welcomed their first child.
