About Al Guido
Al Guido is the president of the San Francisco 49ers. He was named president in February 2016 and oversees all business initiatives in his role. From 2014-2016, Guido was the team's COO. He was instrumental in overseeing the construction and first year in Levi's Stadium. The stadium exceeded expectations and continues to host some of the top sporting events in the world. It was named Sports Business Journal 2015 Sports Facility of the Year. Before becoming 49ers COO, Guido spent four yearsas the senior vice president of global sales for Legends on behalf of the franchise and the Santa Clara Stadium Authority. The suite and Stadium Builders License sales set a record with over $530 million. Guido came into that effort with experience getting a new building off the ground after working as sales manager with the Dallas Cowboys during their build-up to opening Cowboys Stadium. He has also worked in various capacities for the Phoenix Coyotes, Comcast-Spectacor and the Lakewood Blueclaws.
