About Al Toon
Al Toon was a three-time All-Pro and Pro Bowl wide receiver that spent his entire career with the New York Jets. The Jets made him a member of their Ring of Honor in 2011. He was originally selected 10th overall by the franchise in the 1985 NFL Draft. Toon may have even achieved more in his Jets career, but was forced to retire after eight seasons due to multiple concussions. The Newport News, Virginia native played collegiately at the University of Wisconsin. Toon co-founded the Capitol Bank following his retirement and serves on their Board of Directors. He also serves on the boards of the National Guardian Life Insurance Company and the Green Bay Packers. Toon’s son, Nick, also played wide receiver for the Badgers and is currently in the NFL with the New Orleans Saints.
