About Amani Toomer
A legendary New York Giant, Amani Toomer caught passes in the Meadowlands for 12 seasons. Toomer is a member of the Giants Ring of Honor and won Super Bowl XLII with the franchise. Always one of the more underrated receivers in the league, Toomer finished his career with 9,497 receiving yards and 54 touchdowns. He passed Frank Gifford as the franchise’s all-time leading receiver in 2003. Toomer set a team record in his first game as a pro, returning a kickoff 87 yards for a score. The Giants took him in the second round out of Michigan in 1996. While in Ann Arbor, Toomer was a two-time All-Big Ten selection. He was recruited out of a high school football powerhouse, De La Salle in Concord, California. While here, he won USA Today High School All-American honors in 1991. Toomer is now a co-host with the show “Armani & Eytan” on the nationally syndicated NBC Sports Radio Network.
