About Andre Ward
Andre Ward is one of the best boxers in the world and currently an undefeated fighter. Ward is former lineal super middleweigiht champion. His career came to a pinnacle when he unified the super middleweight belt in 2011. After winning the WBA super middleweight title in 2009, Ward beat Carl Froch in 2011 to unify the chaampionship. That year, he was named Fighter of the Year by The Ring. In addition to his successful pro boxing career, Ward won an Olympic gold medal as an amateur in 2004. He currently competes as a light heavyweight after debuting in that division in March 2016. Ward also may have found his post-boxing career. He often contributes to fight coverage as a commentator on HBO.
