About Ange Postecoglou
Ange Postecoglou is an Australian soccer manager and former player, renowned for his attacking "Angeball" philosophy emphasizing high pressing, possession, and entertainment. Immigrating to Australia as a child, he played as a defender for South Melbourne Hellas, earning four Socceroos caps, before transitioning to coaching. Postecoglou achieved success in Australia with Brisbane Roar (A-League titles 2011–2012), Yokohama F. Marinos (J1 League 2019), and Celtic (two Scottish Premier League titles, Scottish League Cup, Scottish Cup 2021–2023). Appointed Tottenham Hotspur manager in 2023, he led Spurs to fifth in 2023–24 but finished 17th in 2024–25 despite winning the UEFA Europa League against Manchester United. He currently serves as a UEFA Match Analyst.
