About Anthony Bennett
Anthony Bennett is a former number one overall pick in the NBA Draft. Bennett was selected by the Cavaliers in 2013, During his rookie season, he played in 52 games, averaging 4.2 points per game in 12.8 minutes. During the offseason, he was dealt to Minnesota with another number one overall pick Andrew Wiggins in exchange for All-Star Kevin Love. Prior to jumping to the NBA, Bennett had a superb year at UNLV. He was the Mountain West Freshman of the Year and a first team All-Conference pick. Bennett averaged 16.1 points and 8.1 rebounds a game as he led the Runnin’ Rebs to the NCAA Tournament. Out of high school, he was a consensus top ten recruit according to all the scouting services. Playing his final high school season in 2012 at powerhouse Findlay Prep, Bennett was named a McDonald’s All-American. Born in Toronto, Ontario, Bennett is part of a new wave of great Canadian basketball talent.
