About Anthony Lynn
Anthony Lynn is the former head coach of the Los Angeles Chargers and current assistant head coach for the San Francisco 49ers. In his first season, Lynn guided the team to a 9-7 record and second-place finish in the AFC West Division. He previously spent two seasons as the assistant head coach and running backs coach with the Buffalo Bills. Lynn finished the 2016 campaign as the team's interim head coach and offensive coordinator. In 2015, he coached a running backs unit that ranked first in the NFL. Lynn originally began his coaching career as a special team assistant for the Denver Broncos. He had stints as a running backs coach with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Dallas Cowboys, Cleveland Browns and New York Jets. From 2009-13, the Jets led the league under Lynn's watch by averaging 137 rushing yards per game. He also had a six-year playing career as a reserve running back. Lynn joined the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent in 1993 after being an All-Southwest Conference performer at Texas Tech. He was a member of Broncos teams that won back-to-back Super Bowls.
