About Antonio Freeman
Antonio Freeman gained notoriety as a go to receiver for Brett Favre and the Green Bay Packers. Freeman caught an 81 yard touchdown pass from Favre as the Packers went on to win Super Bowl XXXI in 1997. He led Green Bay in receiving in four different seasons and paced the entire NFL in 1998 with 1,424 yards. That performance in 1998 led to Freemanâs only Pro Bowl and All-Pro selection. He converted a touchdown play against the Minnesota Vikings on Monday Night Football in 2000 that ESPN ranked the greatest play in MNF history. In addition to his time with the Packers, Freeman also played a season with the Philadelphia Eagles. He is a member of the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame and Virginia Sports Hall of Fame. Freeman was originally selected by the Pack out of Virginia Tech in the third round of the 1995 draft. He currently serves as a pre and postgame analyst on Comcast SportsNet Washington during Redskins games.
