About Bilal Powell
Bilal Powell was a fourth round selection of the New York Jets in 2011 out of the University of Louisville. While playing for the Cardinals he earned All-Big East Conference honors as a senior after rushing for 1,330 yards and 10 touchdowns in 11 games, with a season high 209 yards and two touchdowns against Cincinnati. After a stellar performance in the 2011 Senior Bowl he took his talents to the NFL Combine and continued to impress, showcasing both speed and power to go along with his excellent vision as a back. In the 2011 NFL Draft he was selected with the 126th overall pick by the Jets and began his professional football career in the big apple. During his first four seasons in the league he has rushed for 1,296 yards and six touchdowns to go along with 511 receiving yards out of the backfield. Powell is one of the Jets brightest young stars and looks to shine for many years in the National Football League.
