Bobby Hauck

Bobby Hauck is a Montana boy, and ran track at the University of Montana in 1988 before earning his degree at UCLA in 1991.  Although he did not play collegiate football, he had played in high school and became interested in a career in coaching football while attending Montana.  In 1988 he signed on as an assistant at Montana and served in that role as a defensive backs and lineman coach before heading back to UCLA in 1990 as a graduate assistant coach.  After the 1992 season he was hired as an assistant at Northern Arizona and went on to serve as an assistant at Colorado and Washington before landing his first head-coaching gig at Montana in 2003.  During his seven seasons at the helm for the Grizzlies he led them to an unprecedented seven consecutive Big Sky Conference Championships, including three undefeated conference seasons.  In 2010 he was hired as the head coach at UNLV and has since built the Rebels program into a future winner with the same work ethic and values that helped him become a Big Sky legend.
