About Bobby Humphrey
Bobby Humphrey joined the Denver Broncos as a first round selection in 1989 out of the University of Alabama. During his time at Alabama he scored 40 touchdowns and rushed for a school record 3,420 yards. In 1986 he rushed for a school record 1,471 rushing yards in route to earning the first of his consecutive First-Team All-American honors in 1986 and 1987. In the 1989 NFL Draft he was selected by the Denver Broncos in the supplemental round and went on to rush for 1,151 yards and seven touchdowns as a rookie. In 1990 he topped that performance by rushing for 1,202 yards and seven touchdowns, which earned him his first Pro-Bowl selection. After the 1992 season he signed with the Miami Dolphins and would go on to play two years in Miami before retiring in 1993. Humphrey would go on to become the head coach of the Birmingham Steeldogs in the Arena Football League from 2000 to 2005. Currently he serves as the vice president of business development at Bryant Bank in Birmingham, Alabama.
