Brad Peacock

Brad Peacock is a pitcher for the Houston Astros. He was originally selected by the Washington Nationals in the 2006 MLB Draft. Peacock became one of the best prospects in baseball. In 2011, he was named to Baseball America's list of top 100 prospects and selected to the All-Star Futures Game. He debuted with the Nationals late that season. After the season, Peacock was traded to the Oakland A's. He spent all of 2012 in the minor leagues before being traded to the Astros after the season. Peacock became a part-time starting pitcher in Houston, but had a true breakout in 2017. He went 13-2 with a 3.00 ERA and 161 strikeouts in 132 innings. Peacock came up huge in the World Series, pitching a hitless 3.2 innings to earn the save in Game 3. The Astros won their first championship in seven games over the Los Angeles Dodgers.
