About Brandon Staley
Brandon Staley is the former head coach of the Los Angeles Chargers, leading the franchise to two winning seasons in three years. He was named the head coach of the Chargers in 2021 after gaining notoriety on the defensive side of the ball. Staley spent the 2020 season as the defensive coordinator of the Los Angeles Rams, helping them finish first in points and total yards allowed. He had previously worked with the Denver Broncos and Chicago Bears as an outside linebackers coach. Staley came to the NFL in 2017 after spending time as a defensive coordinator in college at John Carroll and James Madison. He began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at Northern Illinois after a playing career as a two-year starter at quarterback for the University of Dayton.
