About Brian Sabean
Brain Sabean has been leading the direction of the San Francisco Giants franchise for over two decades. He was promoted to executive vice president of baseball operations in 2015. For the previous 18 years, Sabean served as the senior vice president and general manager. In that span, the Giants reached the playoffs seven times and won three World Series titles. Sabean is a two-time Baseball America Executive of the Year and one-time Sporting News Executive of the Year. San Francisco was named the Baseball America Organization of the Year in 2010. During his first year on the job in 1997, the Giants won their first division title in eight years. Sabean had a variety of front office roles with the Giants for four seasons before being named general manager. He began his career with the New York Yankees.
