Cadillac Williams

Cadillac Williams is currently making his way up in the coaching world as the running backs coach for the Las Vegas Raiders. He is best known as a college football legend, however.

Williams formed a dynamic one-two punch with Ronnie Brown while at Auburn, finishing his college career with nearly 4,000 rushing yards. He broke Bo Jackson's school record for career rushing touchdowns. As a junior, Williams ran for over 1,300 yards and 17 touchdowns then he followed that up with another 1,000-yard campaign as a senior in 2004. That year, Auburn won the SEC and went undefeated while Williams was named an All-American and a first-team All-SEC performer.

The NFL took notice and he was selected with the fifth overall pick in the 2005 Draft by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Williams went on to earn NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year honors while running for 1,178 yards and six touchdowns.

Unfortunately, injuries took their toll and Williams did not cross the 1,000-yard mark during five more seasons in Tampa and one year with the St. Louis Rams.

After his retirement, he got started in coaching working at the University of West Georgia, IMG Academy, and with the Alliance of American Football's Birmingham Iron before being hired by back at his alma mater in 2019. Williams was even the Tigers interim head coach in 2022 prior to taking the NFL coaching opportunity.
