About Cameron Brate
After playing college football at Harvard, Cameron Brate was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2014. He was signed to the practice squad and promoted to the active roster late in his first season. After being released by the Buccaneers in training camp in 2015, Brate was signed to the New Orleans Saints practice squad. Following a week with the Saints, he returned to Tampa Bay. Brate ended up playing in 14 games and made four starts. He finished that season with 23 catches for 288 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Brate had a breakout season in 2016, catching 57 passes for 660 yards and eight touchdowns.
