About Candice Wiggins
Candice Wiggins is the all-time leading scorer in Stanford University women’s basketball history. During her decorated collegiate career she earned National Freshman of the Year honors in 2005 and went on to become a three-time All-American, two-time Pac-10 Player of the Year and four-time All-Pac 10 performer. After earning the Lowes Senior CLASS Award and graduating with her degree in communications in 2008 she was selected with the 3rd overall pick in the 2008 WNBA Draft by the Minnesota Lynx. During her first season with the Lynx she was named the WNBA Sixth Woman of the Year and went on to help her team to a WNBA Championship in 2011. Since that time she has played for the Tulsa Shock and Los Angeles Sparks. Wiggins has also competed internationally, helping Team USA to a gold medal at the 2007 Pan-American Games in Brazil. With her numerous college honors she is considered to be one of the greatest collegiate players in the history of the NCAA.
