About Casey McGehee
Casey McGehee has worked hard to resurrect a major league career that once looked lost. After a year away from the MLB, McGehee came back in a big way with the Miami Marlins in 2014. He hit .289 with 76 RBI and was named National League Comeback Player of the Year. McGehee had spent his previous season with the Rakuten Golden Eagles in Japan. They won their first championship as McGehee hit .292 with 28 homers and 93 RBI. He experienced the greatest success in his career during three seasons with the Milwaukee Brewers. McGehee was team MVP in 2010, hitting .285 with 23 home runs and 103 RBI. The Chicago Cubs originally selected him in the 10th round of the 2003 MLB Draft and he debuted with the franchise in 2008. The Santa Cruz, California native played collegiately at Fresno State. Today, McGehee hopes he can continue his trend of success and keep the San Francisco Giants as one of the baseball's best franchises on the field.
