About Charlie Blackmon
Charlie Blackmon is a retired four-time All-Star outfielder who spent his entire career with the Colorado Rockies. The Rockies originally selected Blackmon in the second round of the 2008 MLB Draft out of Georgia Tech. He made his major league debut in 2011, but did not become Colorado's full-time center fielder in 2014. He was named an All-Star that year and finished with a .288 batting average, 28 stolen bases and 19 home runs. The next season, Blackmon stole a career-high 43 stolen bases. In 2016, he hit .324 with 29 home runs, 82 RBI and won a Silver Slugger Award. Blackmon was named MLB Player of the Month in May 2017 and went on to make his second All-Star team.
