About Courtney Force
Courtney Force is a retired funny car driver who competed in the National Hot Rod Association. Born to 16-time NHRA national champion, John Force, in 1988, Courtney comes from a family of drag racers. In fact, her sister, Ashley Force, competitively raced until 2012 and held the record of the most wins by a female driver in NHRA history until Courtney surpassed this record in 2014. Courtney attended Cal State Fullerton and graduated with a degree in communications. She obtained her first win in a national event in 2009 in Seattle, Washington in the Top Alcohol Dragster category event at the annual NHRA Northwest Nationals. That same season, Courtney won the Top Alcohol Championship. She retired from racing in 2019 with 12 victories to her name and top ten NHRA series finishes in six of her seven seasons. Force continues to be part of the sport by promoting John Force Racing and maintaining relationships with several off-track sponsors.
